The PVSC Spring Classic tournament is one of the only tournaments in Idaho to offer a weekend tournament and a non-Sunday tournament.
We are excited that the 2019 Spring Classic will be held May 9-12, 2019 at the Portneuf Wellness complex in Pocatello, Idaho. This year we have added more vendors and Goalie Wars to keep things exciting!
Non-Sunday teams will play Thursday May 9th - Saturday May 11th with a few teams playing on Wednesday evening May 8th.
The weekend tournament will be play on Saturday May 11th and Sunday May 10th with a few regional teams playing on Friday night the 9th.
Registration is now closed. Due to a technical problem, the roster freeze date has been extended from May 1st to May 2nd. All rosters must finalized by the end of the day May 2, 2019. Any late withdrawals after Monday April 1st will be charged a $100 cancellation fee due to the effort required to reschedule the entire bracket and the impact to other teams. NO REFUNDS will be given and full registration fees will be charged for any withdrawal on or after April 15, 2019
Each team must have: 6 copies of the official team roster matching the roster frozen on May 1st, current 2018-2019 player and coach passes and signed medical releases for each player. The above items from be checked and approved by PVSC tournament official before a team plays their first match. Pass cards must be signed by the state or club Registrar. A team which has not presented a roster and player passes to a to PVSC tournament official prior to its first game shall forfeit its first game.
Check -In will be held at the PVSC soccer office on Wednesday May 8th and Thursday May 9th from 10am-2pm located at 181 Jefferson Ave Pocatello, ID 83201. Non-Sunday Teams can also check in Thursday from 5-6pm at tournament Headquarters located in the Portneuf Wellness complex. All Weekend play teams can check in from 3-9pm on Friday May10th at the Best Western located at 1415 Bench Road Pocatello, ID 83201
The home team of every match is required to provide a field marshal. The name and cell phone number of the field marshal will be collected at team check in. The field marshal is responsible to notify the medical team if assistance is needed, to contact Tournament Headquarters if anything is amiss before, during or immediately after the match and to assist the referees as needed.
Parking will be available at the Portneuf wellness complex and at Bannock field. The areas in front of the porta potties and the driveways for emergency vehicles to enter the fields must be kept clear. Any vehicle that blocks these areas will be towed at the owners expense.
RV Parking - RV's MAY NOT park in the Bannock fields parking area or the Portneuf Wellness complex paved lot. RV's are allowed to park in the dirt overflow parking near the Wellness Lake. PVSC Spring Classic honors the Idaho Youth Soccer Associations policy on spectator and team seating.
Spectators must sit on the same side of the field as their team; 20 yards from the team bench and 10 yards away from the halfway line. Parents will sit on the left side of the halfway line and teams to the right. Spectators and teams will be diagonally across the field from their opponent.
No dogs are allowed on any field during the PVSC Spring Classic tournament. Registered service dogs are permitted.
